She has been active in many professional organizations including the Canadian Chiropractic Examining Board – having held team lead positions and been assistant chief examiner. She has also assisted the Alberta College & Association of Chiropractors as a complaints investigator. In 2018, Dr. Jamila D.C. was voted to represent the chiropractors of Alberta on the then joint college and association [alberta college and association of chiropractors] as a board member. In 2021 the organization split and Dr. Jamila D.C. then joined the Chiropractic Association of Alberta as a board member.
Toward her interest in personal health and athletic endeavours, Dr. Abdulla D.C. has achieved certification as a personal trainer, and trains for triathlons, having competed in numerous elite races (including Ironman Canada) throughout Alberta, BC and the Canada.
She takes great pride in her Calgary Health Team, knowing each one was hand-picked for their dedication to helping patients.
